So you have seen a great opportunity and are about to get started. Where do you go from here? Before you dig in, I cannot stress enough the importance of a well laid out business plan. You might then be asking, how do I plan and set goals if I don’t have a clue what I’m going to achieve and in what timeframe? This may be true, but your business must have a foundation on which to start from. You are going to start your home business because you see the potential of this opportunity. Now, to realize this potential, you should plan on how you are going to turn this into success.Get your diary and write down your goals, how you are going to achieve them and in what timeframes. Be realistic with your timeframes. Nothing when starting out in business will happen overnight but I guarantee that the businesses that started out with a plan achieved their goals quicker than the others. Being distracted from your initial business goals is so very common in today’s business world especially on the internet. It is very common for an entrepreneur to start a business and then see other areas where the business can grow.A common theme is an entrepreneur starting out maybe with his/her own product website on the internet. He/She achieves a little bit of success, see’s another avenue where the business might grow and dives in without thinking. It might work, but the odds are against it. In the meantime his initial planned strategy is being totally neglected of resources and time. Multiply this scenario by 3 or 4 and you’ve got a problem. You will end up dabbling in different areas and not totally concentrating on one. This goes back to my earlier point, it will not happen overnight. You have to give your business time. You will probably work the hardest and be the most frustrated for the first 8-12 months. If you can focus on the business plan goals for this time period, your odds for making it are much higher. Try to ignore the other opportunities for the time being, at least until you get your business off the ground. When you get to that stage, then the fun starts and then you can try other things knowing that you have built a solid business which will be there to protect you if your other ideas don’t work out.

There are a couple of key things to look at when starting an online business. I’m not here to give you “hidden secrets,” just a few fundamental tips to get you started. B milf porn asically there are five major factors to look at provided you have the products and/or resources.1. Enjoy what you are doing! It will make all the difference in the world if you actually enjoy what you are offering your customers. A large number of online businesses are started purely for profit and nothing else. This is usually shown in their business practice. The quality of your work will be much greater provided you enjoy the subject. Online or on a street, your business should be run with an underlying interest in the product or service.2. Site design is the first thing a prospective customer sees!! I have seen some horrible designs. If you think putting some text up, a couple links and a logo on a page is enough, you will likely fail before you even realize. You will also notice a lot of companies have a generic template that can be found online at templetemonster or any other template site. Avoid these. It is very hard to develop a company image when you look like 134,000 other companies. I suggest you put a bit of effort and creativity into a well designed “professional” looking home page for your company. The bottom line is a new customer will not even consider buying anything from you, if they feel you are an armature no matter how great your services are or how cheap your products might be.3. Develop your website as a total package to your customers. Don’t just present your products and leave it at that. Offer tutorials, articles, support forums etc. These additional services not only provide additional content for you customers, but if developed correctly, will bring additional traffic to your site which will potentially lead to more sales.4. Find your niche. Take the hosting business for example. The hosting business as a whole is a huge industry which is very competitive. Your best chance at success is to simply find a market and develop your business to cater to that specific niche. An excellent example of this is http://elite-hosts.org/ who offer hosting and development to those who operate online forums. It’s easier to be a big fish in a little pond than to risk having your message drowned out by too much competition.5. You MUST understand how search engines work. Over 90% of your business will likely come directly from search engine results. Therefore, it is absolutely essential to optimize your site for search engines. You could have the greatest deals in the entire world, but if no one knows about them then your efforts are wasted. Do a search on Google for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). You will find tons of great information on how to create a website that is both user friendly and search engine friendly. There are also countless numbers of companies and freelancers out there who offer SEO services. Just be cautious of their offers and do your research first. Remember, NO ONE can guarantee top placement in major search engines, no matter what they say.Maybe in the early 90’s the idea of “if you build it they will come” might have been true. But in the year 2005 the internet is a far more competitive and complex place To be successful today, you have to develop a business plan which works from all angels. If you can develop an online business that you enjoy operating, which has a professional design, some extra content, search engine friendly and which targets a specific niche, you will have a far greater chance at success. Of course there are many other factors to consider as well, but if you can master these five fundamentals, everything else should fall into place.
If you’re interested in making some extra money to pay off creditors or earn enough income to replace your current job or career then the Internet is the place where aspiring entrepreneurs are turning. Unlike traditional businesses, a business on the Internet can be started with virtually no capitol, with the exception of your website expense. You have to have a website if you want to do business on the Internet…PERIOD.If you don’t have your own product to advertise on your website, there are literally millions of affiliate programs on the Internet who do have products and will pay you commissions to sell their products from your website. You can choose to sell cell phones, or internet services, candles, furniture, or maybe insurance, the field is wide open. The affiliate program you choose will also handle all the money, shipping and correspondence with your customers. All you need to do is to generate the traffic to your new website in order to make the sale.Often times the affiliate program you join will offer you free websites and that is great, but you will never generate enough free traffic to these affiliate sites to succeed without having your own website. Why you ask? For one, the search engines don’t list affiliate sites and you definitely want to get listed in the search engines, this will be your biggest free traffic source. One of the best ways to generate free traffic is to get involved in link exchanges. You will basically place a link to another site on your website and they will in turn place a link on their site to yours. Once you have exchanged several hundred links a portion of your link partners traffic will come to your site. The free websites you have been given via your affiliate program will not be able to be edited in anyway, thus link exchanges are not an option.Link exchanges produce a double bonus also. Not only will you get traffic from your link partners, the search engines will place you higher in their listings when they see lots of links pointing to your site. The Internet was created to provide information, so if you want to succeed on the Internet and generate lots of free traffic, you are going to have to provide information on your website. Often times we do this by providing free information or articles on our website.Offering free and useful information will keep your visitors coming back to your website, and the double bonus here is that the search engines love content. The more content your website has will produce better listings in the search engines.Once you have perfected this process of building a website, getting listed in the search engines and have developed a huge traffic stream to your website, your going to be making sales. It will start out slow and as you build links and content, the traffic will grow and so will your sales.Affiliate programs can be a great stepping stone to get your foot in the door towards cashing in on the riches that the Internet provides. As time goes by you will find that you have learned so much and have evolved into an Internet Guru and now it’s time to take it one step farther, and start selling YOURSELF.Using the knowledge that you have gained, you may want to venture into selling your services to other entrepreneurs just getting started. You could start a consulting business, or you may offer to build websites, or to help your clients get listed in the search engines. You may want to start writing E-Books and selling them. The possibilities are endless. The Internet is a huge marketplace that is still virtually untapped. Don’t waste another day worrying about how you’re going to pay your creditors or provide for your family in the future. Start an Internet business today and see how your life can be changed for the better.
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. You have probably heard this many times. If you are anything like me, you may have put this mantra in the back of your mind. Will you do something for me? Right now say aloud “If at first I do not succeed, I will try, try again.”Now think about the challenges in your life. More importantly, look at the areas in your life where you have experienced disappointment and failure. List them, one by one, and decide if those particular things are still important to you.I have found that many of the issues that caused us much pain, embarrassment and aggravation are not worth it in the long run. That list that is important to you will likely be shorter than the one you started with. Most likely, the items you removed as no longer important to you can now be seen as learning experiences that helped you mature. Look at what is important to you now, in this moment, that you still want to accomplish. These are the things you should try again.I have come to believe that there is often an up side to our failures and frustration. There is an upside to not getting what we want when we want it. Negatives can sometimes become positives if we learn from our mistakes and learn our own limitations. Many of our most humbling stumbles and falls have in hindsight become fodder for laughter and personal growth. You see, it is by trying and failing, standing up and falling down, getting praise and ridicule, that helps us to grow stronger and defines our character. What looks like a failure in that moment becomes a rich learning experience you can build upon and share with others. You may not have gotten much of what you want in life, but now is the time to try again. You may feel you need more education or training in a specific area of expertise. Try again. You may have tried to start a business once, or many times before, but if you really want it – TRY AGAIN!There are many resources to help you if having a home based online business is your goal. May I suggest that our Manna Success Newsletter is the place to start. This free, weekly e-zine is your for the asking. If there was one thing I mobile porn hated as a kid, it was beets. I couldn’t stand the look of them. Or the taste of them… although, I’m not sure I remember ever actually eating one. I just knew I would hate them. And so, my whole life I’ve held to the belief that I hate beets. Until recently. I was at one of those huge salad bar restaurants and there they were. My husband loves beets, and he was heaping them onto his plate.”Come on, try one. You’ve never even had one, have you?”, he cajoled. So, I did the unthinkable. I ate one.And it was good! To think I’d been missing out all this time just because of a stubborn opinion I’d formed as a kid.So what does this have to do with working at home? My point here is that I once felt the same way about home business opps. When I first quit my job to stay at home with my kids, I wanted only to find a telecommute job. No business opps. No Network Marketing. No way. For reasons that escape me now, I had no desire to start a business. In fact, I had a negative impression of business opps in general. I thought most of them were thinly veiled pyramid schemes (even though I’m not sure I really knew then what constituted a pyramid scheme).Eventually though, I succumbed to one of those “Mom’s Needed!” ads and I signed up with a –gasp– Network Marketing company. I liked their product, which had educational value for kids and I actually made a little bit of money. In fact, this is where I got the money to start my current business, 2Work-At-Home.com.In the beginning, my husband was beyond skeptical (yet this was the very same person who convinced me to eat beets….), but after a year of toiling my efforts were really starting to pay off.I was able to pay bills. I was even able to start getting some of those extras that we wanted. So, here I was a home business owner, even though I had started out with the firm and non-negotiable goal of securing a telecommute job. And you know what? I think I’m much happier running my own business than I ever would have been working for a company.Who’d have thought that beets could change someone’s life?
How do your feel when salespersons knock at your door at odd times trying to sell something you are not interested in? I feel pity for these people who have to toil from house to house facing rejection at most of the places. And yet they wear a forced smile as they start their rehearsed sales speech. When they come to me at most inconvenient time (for me) and insist on selling when I do not want to talk to them, I find it, if you will pardon me, irritating; although I do my best not to show it as I turn them away as politely as I can.Websites which have only sales pitch as their main content are very much like these salespersons who arrive when you are not looking for them. Visitors go web browsing primarily looking for specific information and not sales offer. When a visitor arrives at a website which offers information she finds useful and solutions to her problems, she is likely to visit again.A website should not be designed only for selling something, though that may be purpose for setting up the website in the first place. The website should provide information and commentaries which can pre-sell the product to the visitor. It should attract targeted visitors interested in the content. Pre-selling arouses interest in the product prompting the visitor to visit again. She will try to satisfy herself with information provided, testimonials, bio of the webmaster, links to related sites and other considerations before she will actually buy the product. In a way, pre-selling tries to guide her in this direction and makes it easier for her to make a decision.People are more inclined to buy what they “want” instead of what they “need”. Once they set their minds on buying something, they look for reasons (or call it excuses) why they should buy, only to satisfy themselves, though the decision for the purchase has already been taken. Pre-selling provides reasons which they find “compelling” enough to part with money. The website which has valuable content the visitor is looking for produces a pleasant experience for her. By pre-selling she is made to develop trust in the website and the webmaster and will look at the recommendations with an open mind. Once the visitor decides to buy, the website should ensue that she does not face any problems in making actual purchase. The links provided for the order page should work properly and the whole process should be kept simple. It will be very unfortunate if the prospective buyer calls off the purchase only because she finds that the ordering process does not work. How will your website appear to your visitor? That is an important question which should be asked often. Try to visualize yourself as a first-time visitor to your site. Then see you site as if you looking at it for the first time. How does it appear? Does your headline create a curiosity? Are you drawn towards the main content or other features of your site grab your attention? Is your main content “readable”, interesting and not a sermon? How far does it succeed in pre-selling?Ask your friends to see your website and give their opinion on these and other questions. Website building is a dynamic process and is never complete or perfect. But whatever changes are made, they should enhance its pre-selling ability. It is good idea to actually test the website after changes are made. Any change which tends to reduce the traffic needs to be modified. The changes should gradually refine the website to attract more visitors.Pre-selling should be seen as a service to satisfy the needs of the visitors who arrive at the website. It should be considered as the first step before actual sale. Pre-selling forms a bond, an understanding built on trust between the seller and the prospective buyer which eases the process of actual sale.

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase: “If you don’t black porn accept credit card payments you’re losing 80% of your potential sales”Well, I wouldn’t go that far but it is true…If you plan to do any kind of business online you need a reliable service to handle both your credit card and online check payments. So what do we look for? Here are the 3 best things to keep in mind when choosing a service for your website:1. How many products do they let you have?Does your prospective service let you set up just one product or several? This is something you should find out before you layout the money. You don’t want to be trapped having to pay again and again to add products to your line.2. How fast do they pay you?How long will it take you to get your money? Is it every week or two? A month or longer?Ideally you want a service that will let you wire your money directly to your account or at least pay you quickly.3. Did you ever watch the Zoo Keeper working in the monkey enclosure?I can recall watching the Zoo Keeper when he was sweeping out the big monkey enclosure. He was industriously sweeping up dead leaves and twigs and the rest of the litter the monkeys had made and he was taking no notice at all of the antics of the noisy crew of monkeys. I guess he was used to their racket. Suddenly one of the monkeys swung down from a branch and snatched the Zoo Keeper’s cap right off his head. The Zoo Keeper hardly had time to react to what had happened before that monkey was out of reach in the higher branches of the tree. The Zoo Keeper looked up, the monkey bared its teeth in that special grin monkeys have and chattered quietly. The Zoo Keeper pantomimed a shrug for his audience: no point in him even thinking of climbing the tree after that monkey. The Zoo Keeper carried on with his cleaning up and ignored the chattering monkey. The monkey tried the cap on for size, on his head, then on one foot, then he sniffed hard at it. The crowd laughed but the Zoo Keeper didn’t bother to look up. The monkey dropped from the tree just a few feet behind the Zoo Keeper, screeched in that way monkeys have and flourished the cap when the Zoo Keeper looked round startled. That sure got his attention! The Zoo Keeper stood, hands on hips. The monkey did the same, putting its head a little on one side as if he was waiting for an answer. The Zoo Keeper took a slow step towards the monkey and the monkey just stood there holding the Zoo Keeper’s cap. The Zoo Keeper took another cautious step towards the monkey and this time the monkey took a step back. The Zoo Keeper tried another step, the monkey stepped back, turned, let out a screech and leaped into the lower branches of his favourite tree. The Zoo Keeper grabbed at his cap but he was no match for the monkey’s swiftness.By now a crowd of children had gathered and they giggled as the Zoo Keeper looked up at the monkey who had again perched out of reach chattering loudly and waving the cap in the air. What the Zoo Keeper didn’t know (but the children did) was that another monkey had removed a small shovel from the Zoo Keeper’s unattended cart and was marching about waving the shovel in the air as if he was conducting some invisible monkey orchestra. When monkey number two started beating the shovel against the bars of the enclosure, the Zoo Keeper did notice and his attention was completely diverted from the first monkey. While the Zoo Keeper crept up behind the monkey with the shovel, monkey number one dropped out of the tree and upset the Keeper’s cart, scattering all the rubbish he had swept up.At that moment, the gate into the enclosure opened and a Feeding Attendant brought in the monkeys’ lunch. Monkey number one saw the attendant and lost all interest in the cap, which he dropped on the ground. The second monkey threw the shovel over his shoulder as he loped in the direction of the food. The Keeper made the most of this opportunity. He rescued his cap, picked up his shovel and walked back towards the strewn litter. Unfortunately, on his way to gather up the litter, he trod in a pile of monkey pooh and had to stop to scrape his shoe clean..What does chasing after monkeys have to do with your Internet business? When I am working at my home based business on the Internet, I often feel as if I am trying to work in a cage full of monkeys. There are so many distractions, so many people trying to get your attention and lure you to their websites. If you do not remain focused on the job in hand, working on the internet can turn out very much like chasing monkeys. If you lose your focus, you will find yourself being led in every direction apart from the one you intended to take. You will spend your morning chasing about and achieving nothing. Suddenly you will realise it’s lunchtime and you have still not managed to complete the morning’s tasks. If you let this situation carry on, you are likely to find yourself in the sort of mess that’s best tackled with a shovel.
